MMA Investments

Let’s dive deep into this word and look at it from different angles, creating different perceptions.

These MMAs always lead to messages that make sense and give you a deeper understanding of the word itself. Here we go.

MMA

In = in (inside, inner, inward)

Vest = as in vest, cover, layer, shield, protection

Ment = becomes ‘meant’ when you pronounce it

Messages:

1 – Meant to cover in. Meant to cover a particular need, usually external, internally as well.

2 – Meant to create protection, external or internal.

You are meant to protect yourself inside-out.

When you invest in shoes and clothes, you do it to ‘cover’ your body, to protect it. When investing in other material things, jewelry, perfumes, furniture, cars, etc. – you invest to ‘cover’ your needs.

Same when you invest in your business – you do it to ‘cover’ your needs (and others’). And this applies further to inner states that investments create.

All of these external investments create a sense of fulfillment, the root cause behind external investment is the inner fulfillment they create. As the word itself says = in-vest-ment

Investment and Satisfaction

3 – Investments are meant to create a sense of inner satisfaction. External investments are there to remind you that.

4 – You need to look inward to create real satisfaction.

This goes into what I often say: – Do business with integrity. Through investments you should deliver that specific value that will create inside-out fulfillment (for yourself and others, in win-win situations).

A New Layer of Perception

Let’s flip it a bit and add another layer of perception to this word.

You are ok with investing in, let’s say, an expensive pair of shoes, maybe 2k+ or more? But, when it comes to investing in mentorship meant to reveal that inner need you hold (each of us has it) and build it from within, you may flinch.

How long will you actually wear that pair of shoes? A few times. How long does inner work last through mentorship? A lifetime when done right. ROI (return on investment) here is obvious, isn’t it?

In other words, make sure you invest in your internal identity discovery first, before making important external investments. (so you can create that real fulfillment)

On another note, this one is especially for women, but not only…

Impulsive shopping happens because of the need to reconnect with yourself, because you want and seek that inner satisfaction, at any ‘cost’ – literally here, in this case. Which was never achieved through external “investments” – hence the impulsive shopping behaviour, thinking more will break it even.

How will you invest from now on, knowing what the word itself means?
